Because our SP are the only part of the team that is working right now and bringing in a new catcher with no experience catching for those starters might affect that.  They should absolutely be figuring out a solution to their massive catching issues but I'm not sure sending Amaya to Iowa and making the catching situation Gomes (a worse hitter and catcher) and a new guy is the best way to address it.

If Amaya's arm never improves I would cut bait after the season, regardless of how well he frames and works with pitchers. You cannot have a guy who autmotically puts runners in scoring position like that IMO,

I wish Happ would give up switch-hitting.

I've said this before but after reading comments from switch-hitters who tried it, the transition may not be as viable as it seems. He'd likely be atrocious LvL too.

He is atrocious RvL, so at that point you platoon him with someone who can hit LHP.

Morel is going to light up the league, it was just a matter of time

Both his hits today were the other way - if he keeps doing that he will.  He doesn't need to pull everything.  He hit an absolute BOMB the other way last year in Philadelphia.  Hopefully he keeps looking that way.

This Little appearance shouldn’t surprise anyone, should it? He can’t throw strikes. No idea why Counsel put him in.

pretty excited to see how the Brewers manage to get the lead back, my money is on a chopper hits a low flying bird to deflect down the line for a leadoff triple

How about walks and a blooper

Why cant the Cubs win a game like 8-1 or something?  It seems like every game is a loss (most of the time) or a nail biting 1 run victory.
