That was far and away the most relaxed PCA has looked in a plate appearance at any time in the bigs.  Just a totally different approach there.

That’s what confidence can do for a hitter.

Let’s just remember that this team is playing this well without Steele, Seiya and Belli.

We're also done with 2/3 of our games against Houston (albeit they may be bad), Texas and LA and haven't played any of the mostly unimposing Central teams yet

Listening to the Red Sox radio guys on XM in the car as we make a dinner run, and hoo boy I know this announcer is old, but he gets so many names wrong.  So far...

Imanag-wa...every time

Pete Crawford Armstrong...only once, then corrected the next time.

And I think he said Clay Bellinger.

Don’t forget Busch. He is a rookie too.

Lol, that was more of the Counsell I was expecting. He seemed very tense and wanted no part of that interview

There was at least one question - JD's about any specific prep being needed to play at Fenway - where it seemed like he was suppressing the urge to roll his eyes

Makes me wonder if the pressing carried over to Iowa too. I mean he was atrociously bad last year when he got his chance. It had to get into his head a bit.

Crawford's throwing mechanics look horrific with the wrist wrap, how does he get major league velocity doing that

Yeah, he has such a weird throwing position, I use to short arm throw like that, but most people who do it we do it from behind our head like a catcher. He does it from his shoulder, it’s so odd.

Despite the traffic in that inning, Shota getting through 4 innings in 47 pitches is Kyle Hendricks like from back in the day.
