Would it be the worst thing in the world for Pete to try putting the ball in play by bunting??? I'm sure the 3rd baseman in in but at least put the ball in play. Try a drag bunt. Or push a bunt toward the second baseman.  Use your speed.

If Nico and Tauchman could the ghost runner thing and just be hitter A and hitter B and switch out...we'd still be in the first inning with zero outs. Both guys are doing great

Great work overall by Assad and then real solid by Wes inducing that type of contact. Could probably feel comfortable with him staying in until you flip back over to Yordan and Tucker.
