Also I know the underlying numbers don’t quite back up Assad’s performance the last three years, but I really like watching him pitch. I feel very at ease with him on the mound. Seems to mix things up well. Seemed like last year he’d give a random 6-8 inning start exactly when the pitching staff needed it.

 

i don’t know if his future is swing man/sixth starter or back of the rotation fixture, but he’s a super useful arm.
