Impressive bounce back drive from Bagent. It wasn’t all good or neat, but he made it work. The ball isn’t looking as crisp as it has for him before, and he’s not looking as decisive. But, he got the job mostly done.

Pretty intrigued by what fields might do with this much protection

we should gamble on Jenkins health and lock him up because he will be an all pro at guard if he doesn’t get hurt

Well, he was last seen getting this much protection, hopping in place forever anyway, trying to run sideways, taking an unnecessary hit and getting hurt.

So probably something like that

I didn’t see his last game but he started the year without this group of linemen protecting him.

After seeing him play all of one half, it appears the Bears may have dodged a bullet by passing on Bryce Young.

I still like him long-term but I would be afraid least starting to doom boner if I were a Panthers fan

He is absolutely the anchor of the Bears offensive line, but he is also a huge risk.  How his body is going to hold up is a huge question mark.

I started doom bonering after the week 2 MNF game. The rest of the season has just been taking morbid amusement at the rest of our fan base replaying all the excuses I made for Clausen for 6 weeks before conceding he was a waste of time.

He's still a rookie.  But the clock has started ticking. He needs to look better than this by early next season.

He's in a 1st year Fields situation.  No WR, bad Oline and quickly developing bad habits because of it.

the first month of the season wright was guaranteed to have at least one drive killing whiff which he's cleaned up and braxton who isn't great but is still better than borom

also we haven't had the comically bad snapping the last few weeks

fields would have gotten at least one touchdown with the protection bagent had in the first half imo
