Don't understand that line of betting, if Odunze or Nabers are there at 9 the Bears are taking a WR, Murphy being the betting favorite must be fans putting money on that Bears meathead defense, defense crap.

Or that the Bears are trading out of 9. It says 9th pick of the draft, not necessarily by the Bears

Someone is going to have to explain to me why Byron Murphy is the betting favorite to go #9 while Johnny Newton is like 50/50 to even go in the 1st round. I know Newton had a foot injury, but his medical shows it's healed, and he even wrecked games while injured this year.

Newton had better production over his whole career playing on a d line with way less talent than Murphy. Murphy has like an inch and a half longer wing span, but the same length arms while being shorter and lighter than Newton.

I know I'm a bit of a homer, but it doesn't add up for me.

I read there was an interview with Caleb and when asked who he felt the Bears should draft at 9, he apparently suggested Fashanu.

I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more talk of teams trading up to 6-10 for OT's. But, if McShay is predicting 10 first round trades, maybe that's where the trades happen.

Murphy seems to be a consensus better prospect than newton, but murphy doesn’t seem like a guy that should go 9.

Production in college, especially on the line, is a nebulous concept. This isn’t baseball. You can’t quantify ability.

Read a report that when Poles flew Caleb in for a visit, he sent him out to dinner with DJ Moore, Cole Kmet and TJ Edwards instead of with execs.

Smart move

I don't mind Murphy but I don't want him at 9.

My wish list at 9 is...

1a Nabers

1b Odunze

1c  Bowers

2.   Alt

If they trade back...

Verse

Murphy

Fashanu

The DE from UCLA.

If all 3 WRs are gone, I hope someone wants to move up for a tackle... maybe the Saints? and we get an extra 3rd that we can do something like trading both 3rds for a 2nd and get a WR
