Bears and Jets are just QB hell. There’s another universe where Wilson and Fields get picked by any other teams and they’re league average QBs right now.

The weird thing about those teams is the fandom crossover is nearly a concentric circle. Whether they are New Jersey residents or from Long Island, I know plenty of Mets/Jets fans. That’s a rough life. Yankees fans tend to be Cowboys fans, although some a Giants but most think football is beneath them.

They missed a trip at the 30. Also unconfirmed,  but it is believed that Rodgers tore his ACL.

Im confused. An Achilles is not an ACL

 

Anyways legitimately impressive for the Jets to win that game after a devastating loss during the first drive of the season, against one of the best teams in the AFC with Zach Wilson as their QB

There’s a still shot that shows the very moment the injury occurred.  The ankle and foot aren’t designed to move that way.  It would make sense if it’s an Achilles.

Rodgers is a giant piece of horsefeathers, but from a Jets fan perspective, woof. They’re the one NFL team that has as bad of a QB history as the Bears. They think they got their guy, bring him onto a super talented roster and, bam, it’s over in 4 snaps. Or 5 I guess if you count the Achilles

I was talking with a friend who is a Jets fan before the game and was telling him that it would be so Jets if Rodgers came out, threw 4 INTs and the Jets got dominated.  Then I realized no, that would be so Bears.  Then Rodgers got hurt and I thought "ok now THAT is so Jets"
