A bit of an ouch on the Kevin Made front on first feelign, though he's slowed down considerably this year.  Cubs have Rojas chasing him.  Herz...belongs in the BP.  It feels worse on the name-brand feeling of it.

Absolutely this.  I really thought Made was going to blow up this year offensively, and he started out hot.  But then he came back to earth.  He filled out nicely but the bat didn't respond accordingly.  Looking like a utility player with good D up the middle at the next level.

That's the beauty of a packed up, jacked up MiLB engine. They have about 3 or 4 Made's.

Bellinger will hit the open market, so it’s more about resigning him rather than extending him

I am fine with this . I believe both of them will be rule 5 elegible as well . He isn’t a super sexy acquisition but there won’t be any impact bats traded most likely . 24 hours to hopefully get a couple of strong relievers .

Not sexy but as a SH he will give them a needed power bat/ run producer in middle of lineup and  much improve defense at 3B.

They should be able to swing more R5 guys into those relievers. I'm feeling really good about Hoyer rn. He understands he can't go too far but he also can't stand still. This is a really good move.
