Anyone else getting the sense that the whole of the NFC isn't very good? We might see some last day, 9-7 or 8-8 or 7-9 playoff qualifier as the NFC' representative in the SB.

The Super Bowl rep for the NFC will be one of the Saints, Rams or Packers. Everyone else in the conference is just meh or worse.

I don't see the Seahawks as any more meh than the Rams.

The NFC East is trash, but the only difference between the conferences is the Chiefs are in the AFC. Anything beyond that is the same.

Well, Sean Payton confirms two things, one of which we already knew

- This is Brees’ last year

- Winston is probably Brees’ actual replacement, not Hill

What I read there is that he promised Taysom the opportunity to be the #2. He's had that opportunity. It's Jamies time now if there's any hope of beating KC.

I refuse to believe he couldn't get a cramp worked out on the bench. IF they had to take his pants off, put him in the tent. They have everything the sidelines except X-rays and toilets. Lamar had to horsefeathers. The internet has spoken!

Oh, I definitely think he cramps - stomach cramps. And I believe he didn't go back to the locker room to take a sh!t. Judging from the way they showed him walking, I think he already took a sh!t. Like in his drawers. He [expletive] himself. And he had to go back to the locker room for a fresh pair of undies armor shorts and pants.

If the starting QB vs the Chiefs is someone other than Drew or Jamies I’m going to lose my effing mind.

Me too. Taysom Hill is going to kill my fantasy playoff chances by continuing to ignore the value of Kamara to that offense.

There you go.

That makes me quite giddy!

Kinda like this move. He wasn’t going to play Sunday in any case, and if the Saints are going to win a SB, they need a healthy MT. The Packers are unlikely to lose the #1 seed anyway.

Fun fact, the Saints are averaging 28 ppg and Drew and MT have played all of 6 quarters together this season.

Don't look now, but the Jets are about to actively tank another game. Led 20-3 and 23-10 at the end of the 4th quarter against the Rams. Lead now cut to 6.

Ha! They won! The Jets won! I never root for a team to go 0-16, but damn they just lost Lawrence as they'll most likely lose the SOS tiebreaker to the Jags.

Assuming they get #2, decent chance they trade down a couple spots if they’re not taking a QB right? Assuming someone wants to trade up for Fields.

I'd just take Sewell or Chase at 2 tbh, but if someone wants to give up a ton for a QB (IMO, like multi-year rebuilds, kind of an outdated thing to do) then more power to them

I could see several teams willing to trade up for Fields. If they don't, and the Jets do take Sewell (him and Becton would be sick) then everyone will contact the Bengals to move up because it sounds like Carolina could go QB and they're at 4 right now.

If there's a good QB sitting at 4 Carolina has to take him. Teddy B has produced points on 0 of 8 final drive clutch situations, and only once did he even come close (Slye missed a field goal in Minnesota - he also missed 2 65-yard FGs but I don't count those). Not gonna cut it.
