St. Louis, playing the only team in the playoffs with half their rotation injured, puts up 3 runs in the first inning because of course they do.

This is 2020. Of course the World Series is going to be St. Louis vs Houston.

Scored more runs than we have hits in 1 inning.

How are national baseball announcers so horsefeathering terrible. Rick Sutcliffe is consistently drunk and stupid. Alex Rodriguez demands 5 bunts per inning, every announcer actively hates the game.

Rain delay in Cleveland. What could possibly go wrong for them?

In the bottom of the first also. Do they not have a weather radar in Cleveland?

And after a 50 minute delay to start the game when it was not raining.

Can damn ARod say “mmm” more please?

He always sounds like someone is feeding him all of his lines in his ear. Nothing he says sounds like it's his own thought or opinion

Yelich is a legitimately bad baseball player

The Astros' offensive stars being worse en masse this year is the best thing that's happened to Yelich. No one seems to be outwardly suspicious of him.

Yelich is a legitimately bad baseball player

Extending a veteran guy 2-3 years from FA is a terrible idea. It almost always works out poorly: Braun, Longoria, Tulo, Howard, Miggy, etc. I legitimately can't think of an occasion where it worked out...was one of Jeter's deals this far from FA maybe? The problem is the guys are making real money by this point, so you're not getting that big of a discount. And if you're not getting a huge discount, that's a lot of risk to take on for a fairly small reward. Add on top of that Yelich was recovering from major knee surgery, and just a horrible idea from Stearns.
