Pretty balanced schedule, no really light stretches but no brutal ones either. *Maybe* mid April through Mid May if the Padres do a bunch this winter?

Also, we have an off day on Memorial Day? What?

It'll be a makeup game by the time it comes around. There are only 11 games scheduled that day. Lots of teams are off, including the Brewers.

Idiotic. Not let’s give every team a couple Friday’s off dumb but still, they inevitably do stuff like this every year

The off day after opening day continues to be the dumbest thing ever

it's def dumb when playing at a park where weather is a non issue.

i completely get why they do it at wrigley and the other places, though (so it totally makes sense that they're not doing one next year)

Perfect, I can wear my Bears SB LIV champions shirt to Miller Park right off the bat

Oh, cool. Which 3rd world country are you going to go to to pick one up?

I get why they do it. It's still dumb to get half of baseball fans engaged and enthusiastic about the new season just to slap them in the face with an immediate off day.

Always hate wasting a off day between coming or going to St Louis or Milwaukee and having off days right before or after the All-Star break.

Dislike how they handled our trips out West. They have us in finishing up a trip in LA on the 6th of May and then we have to go back to SD for one series a week later, then we go from SD to Pittsburgh. We get a off day to go to St Louis, but no off day to go from there to SF or from SF back home.
