Phillies and Pale Hose in the 15th inning. Vince Velasquez is playing LF while Roman Quinn is pitching. Velasquez just missed an assist on a laser to the plate and then followed it up with a 5 star diving catch.

Didn't Lester have this problem in 2016?

He has a bone spur in his elbow but it isn’t a problem based on its size/location, iirc. It’s not rubbing on any ligaments/muscle/tendon/whatever. It could grow to the point of being a problem and he’d need surgery that isn’t overly serious.

Yeah, they're going to turn him and that curveball into another Charlie Morton. So while the Astros are willing to gamble and nail "fixing" guys like Cole, Verlander, and Sanchez (who is not really in those guys' tier but is another loud post hype guy), why not Cubs?
