That was my thought also. There's two outs and you're down 2. He's scoring on any hit anyway and he's not the tying run. No need to risk him getting thrown own at home.

Yeah I wasn't considering it from a 'we replaced useful utility guy with human garbage' perspective. Just that we didn't let some dude toil on our bench for 4 years and then watch him immediately turn into an all star after getting rid of him.

Seal boy fouled a ball off his shin and had to be carried off the field

Greg Holland came in to close the game out for the DBacks last night against the Dodgers. He got the first two guys out. He then walked four straight guys to force in the tying run. DBacks brought in a reliever who walked Bellinger to end it.

Pirates would be in first place if they never had to play the Brewers.

Pirates score 5 in the 9th to send it to extra then Vasquez gives up a run in the 10th to give Milwaukee the lead.
