long time ignorer, first time rams watcher. was Goff throwing with the wrong arm tonight? I know the bears defense is legit, but he was their best player

Dunno but the bears pressure definitely played a part in it. They were getting to him pretty consistently throughout

Ill give Nagy credit for what I’ve criticized him for (primarily the first guy):

That is horsefeathering OUTSTANDING against the top team in the league. Find a way to use these guys in the run game, couple that with a tuned in Mitch, and this defense might get lazy. But even if you cant work them together, its great to se you have either approaches on offense.

Bears secondary is a biiiig black fog for other teams right now.

Bears defense deserves a ton of credit but Goff was really bad. Not sure any of those picks were tough plays for the defender.

Shout out to James Daniels and Bryan Witzman who held Aaron Donald to 1 tackle, 1 assist, and 1 QB hit. Daniels seemed to have him primarily and he got help from Whitehair, RBs, Leno, etc. But he clearly got the brunt of it and held his own. A lot of it was him just allowing Donald to aggressively go upfield in "pass rush mode", and then running the ball underneath him. But in pass protection, Donald was kept mostly at bay. Rarely heard him or Suh's names.

Have you ever watched football before

LOL. Right?! The line of former Bear QB's that played scared like Goff did last night is endless. Athleticism and precision are key elements to being successful in sports, but never ignore confidence. Goff had none last night. And it's not like he's never had it. Goff is an outstanding NFL QB and the Bears defense turned him into Mike Glennon.

Speaking of confidence.....

Last night, those guys took it to a whole new level. The coaching staff has instilled a level of confidence in the entire unit that seems so strong at this point, I'm not really sure what will stop it. Nagy convincing Fangio to stay, giving him a defensive stud with the first pick in the draft, Pace pulling the trigger to get Mack, involving defensive players on offense and the fun these guys now seem to be having should have Aaron Rodgers shaking in his boots next week. The Falcons horrible defense sacked Rodgers 4 times yesterday.

The talent was there in previous games, but now there an element of confidence that has these guys feeding off one another. Stopping a high potent offense series after series, even with the offense sputtering and forcing the defense back on the field when they should have had more time to rest. Last night was a thing of beauty. I will definitely enjoy watching this one a few more times before Sunday. Tim didn't know who to give a game ball to, and while I agree that everyone was awesome last night, I feel like the rook deserves that one. And heck, McManus even deserves some consideration with the way he stepped in for Callahan.

I want revenge for Week 1. And the million other times Rodgers has dangled his nuts on the bears.

What a huge win, the Rams wanted no part of the D and Bear Weather :-O
