Rose killed the Bulls. Derrick's great dunking ability is gone and he isn't as explosive, but he's an above average point guard. He's also shooting 46% from the three point line.

I have a hard time accepting the Rose nostalgia. I guess I just can't see past the situation with his accused rape and every time I think of him that comes to mind. From a pure basketball sense, it is nice to see though.

not just the rape but just how freaking dumb he came across.

Yep. On RealGM forums people are super nostalgic on him in a weird way, and the few that questioned that love seemed to get written off since he was found innocent by a jury, but actual legal issues aside you have his own words in which he comes off at best super dumb if not super icky.

I mean I have nostalgia for the Bulls thread when Rose was around.

Stay tuned. Based on his comments after the game, I'm scared as horsefeathers that he's coming back next year.

How happy would Rose be as a 6th or 7th man on the Bulls? Maybe he knows that's his place now, but I don't see how that would help Dunn's development.

How good of a team of Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, Zion Williamson, Lauri Markkanen, and Wendell Carter next year because no great FA is coming here and a #1 pick is all that can propel this team forward. Williamson is what this team desperately needs, especially because the Bulls have no SF.

What the actual horsefeathers?

Is that a real quote because that’s an insane thing to say

Jabari thinks teams only care about offense, but why say what he said? He’s costing himself big money.

Just buy him out already.

The Bulls reportedly have waived Cam Payne, putting the proverbial exclamation point on an utterly horrendous string of transactions and front-office decisions.

Yeah the front office really pulled off the opposite of the “paper clip into a millionaire” with that series of moves.

Yikes.

At least the current trade from last night is much better.

I mean several years of Taj, Noah, and a couple from Omer is certainly more valuable than Eddy Curry. There are just multiple stops along the way that would have been much better places to stop.

Great point. I actually had no idea this whole set of transactions started with Curry. I was thinking this started with Nurkic/Harris draft.
