How about instead of bitching about the strike zone, you don't chase on 3-1, Ben. Ya look like a horsefeathering baby, you and Joe. You guys got your asses handed to you today and to add insult to injury you bitch about the zone when you're getting demolished.

It was a bad call on a ball 4 that would have put 2 on no out in a frustrating game. It makes sense and maybe theres some hope in the clubhouse that ultra religious goodguy getting thrown out will spark them or something

if Sunday night didn't spark anything, I can't see how a couple of guys getting tossed would.

Down to 7th best run differential in MLB. This has been a good but not elite team this season and it is trending downward.

I thought I read somewhere that are Pythag is right in line now. The only games we seem to win are the one run variety and get curb stomped when we lose.

yea, its right on down to D3 (the cubs are actually one better than that right now for the first time in years). This isn't as good as we had hoped but they have a good chance to win the division.

Get ‘em tomorrow. Again, I keep telling myself that a winning streak should be due. But damn, do we get our ass kicked a lot.

It’s still way more likely than not that there is much better play ahead but there’s a non zero chance that we are in a tailspin masked by success in one run games and a couple of timely homers that might take awhile to get out of Edited by UMFan83

if you were a true pessimist you would point out that our pre-ASB record was bolstered by flukishly good results from bad pitching. Once reality caught up to our rotation, the wheels have come off.

Its far more likely that they are in for a sustained losing stretch than a winning stretch. Their wins are by 1 run and their losses are RD games.

My completely anecdotal and unscientific senses say this team has been shutout more times this season than the last 3 seasons combined
