I mean something is very broken....absolutely no reason to start him again. Fake an injury and put him on the DL, let him try to rebuild himself before spring training. 4 year deal so they probably wont eat his money without giving him 1 more chance to prove himself next year.

He was really damn good before he got hit in the head and hurt his shoulder

June is the only month he didn’t have a wRC+ over 117 (89) and he was still slashing .267/.333/.373 that month. So bad Kris is still basically Almora.

I love Kris Bryant. The guy is hurt. An injured guy was not currently our second best hitter to have in the lineup.

I still wonder if the bean ball to his face has affected him

The truth of the matter is we got ungodly lucky with pitcher health and effectiveness from 2015-2017 and now it’s evening out. Our betting on position players in the draft being more solid bets than pitcher prospects is paying off in the fact that we’re still very good, but it makes....a lot of games like this

I was prepared for Almora to still be out somehow if the 3B recovered the first bobble

I was still thinking that after the second bobble. Gary Sanchez part 2.

3 year deal.

I agree, starting him any more is malpractice. You can't keep talking about short starts killing us and keep trotting out this clown.

Good thing we brought in our worst reliever in a leverage spot down 1 in the 5th inning against a garbage SP. who would’ve guessed we could tack more runs on

Justin Wilson hasn't pitched since Saturday, if you really insisted on a lefty.

That’s what I was wanting there or just bring in Chavez
