Knebel with another solid outing. Went walk, walk, walk (against 7-8-9) and infield single before getting yanked.

Soria came in, got Hosmer to pop out and gave up a grand slam to Renfroe.

I saw the replay. The pitch was poorly Mexicuted.

Sucks that we spent Monday and Tuesday adding 1.5 games to our lead and then Wednesday and Thursday losing 1.5 games (if the Brewers score holds)

It's hilarious that Kato freaking Kaelin is the most online unhinged baseball fan I think I've ever seen. And for the Brewers of all teams (I never knew he was from WI until this year).

Strange world we live in.

I'm kinda surprised there's not a wonky conspiracy theory out there about Kato and the OJ murders just based on those tweets alone.

It's a good thing he's satisfied, because the Bears sure as horsefeathers aren't winning a damn thing for the rest of his life.

The bears have been so bad and embarrassing for so long that I’ve successfully stopped caring about them or football in general

The 2005-2012 stretch or so, where we were usually fairly competitive beguiled me in, and I’ll probably not go back (I say, but if they win 10 games I may be drawn back in who knows whatever)

Peralta pretty wild for the VBs. He's pretty good, and will be very good with any control.

His command has always been shakey. Idk how he’s much more than replacement levelish with his 88-92 MPH FB wild in the zone with no real breaking or offspeed pitch

The NL wild card game is going to be AZ vs Atl/Philly while the VBs are sitting home right?

Probably. I think the Dbacks are a cut above those other 3 teams, and while I don't think the Brewers are any worse than the Braves, the Brewers don't get to beat up on the Mets and Marlins.

About 12 Ks/9 is pretty good. Must have some pretty good movement in his pitches, which might explain the wildness at times.

Yeah he’s getting results but he throws like 80% FB in the 88-92 range and it seems like it’s more deception than movement from when I watch. His curve is very pedestrian

22 year old pitching (decently) every 5 days for a team (flawed) in the hunt (not for long) is pretty good (until he's not). :D

And Peralta can't get an out in the 4th before being lifted. His line, you ask: 3+ innings, 7 ER on 7 hits, 5 BBs and 3 Ks.

Yep, he just needs to harness that moving fastball. #-o

I'm really annoyed at Brewerfan.net for their "It's fun to be in the picture and we have a shot, but obviously the Cubs are the favorites to win the division, they're better on paper and ahead" attitude. Give me some misery porn, guys.
