Sherman isn't coming to the Bears, he wants to win now. I'd rather draft one of the CB's in the top 10 anyways.

Guy who wants to win now is taking his 1st visit to the 49ers, who may be his last visit, being that it's near his hometown, near where he went to college, and has a DC he's familiar with from his Seahawks days.

Also win now in NFL terms can be anywhere.

even Chicago?

Probably not. But maybe?

Yes. They aren't going 16-0. But there's no reason they can't be a 10-6 team.

Bears are probably a 7-9 team in a tough NFC North. Which will be seen as a win by the fanbase in year four of a rebuild because expectations are shot so low these days.

Can't let the Packers beat us for Robinson but who wouldn't pick Rodgers over Mitch? Gonna have to back up the Brinks.

Why would the Packers be in on Robinson? They have like the most expensive receiving group in the league and they need to spend money elsewhere because they have holes everywhere on defense.

There have been tweets that the Packers and 49ers are our biggest competition for Robinson. Speculation is Nelson and Cobb are seen as possible cuts. Edited by We Got The Whole 9

Seems like a poor use of resources by them

What's up with Nelson, is he just washed up, not the same since his injury, or his numbers suffered from not having Rodgers most of the season?

All of the above. He’s really not any good anymore other than him and Rodgers having good chemistry and timing on those back shoulder throws. He probably should be cut for what they are paying him. He pretty much needs the best QB in the league who he’s familiar with to have any value. You put him with a average-below average WB and I think he’ll disappear pretty quickly from the league.

Packers still only have like $12-16 million in space right now so to cut Nelson and add Robinson (would assume roughly a wash on salary/cap hit) when they still need all that’s defensive help doesn’t make sense to me when in theory Rodgers can get by with not expensive/less talented receivers.

Nelson had 6 TDs in the first 5 games, of which he only played in 4. AR got hurt in Game 6. Nelson caught ZERO TDs the rest of the year. Stating he is only good if he plays with the best QB in the league is an absurd statement since it's basically the only QB he's played with. And playing the remainder of last season (while injured) with a guy who showed he is not an NFL backup, let alone a starting QB. Nelson isn't what he was a few years ago, but I think he'll still be damn productive. And GB won't cut him, they'll most likely restructure for another year. Cobb is probably gone. I definitely like Allen Robinson. I just didn't think Pace would go after him. I'm curious what the Bears plan to do with Kevin White.
