Joe's lineups continue to mystify me. Schwarber against the lefty and no Happ?

He is sooooooo lucky we won it last year, he deserved to be the goat.

Schwarber very recently hit a big ole dong off a lefty. Why not leave him in?

Win turds

But alas it’s been my fault gents. Been in Orlando since game 4 of the NLDS and just got home. No flag flying, no good luck jerseys, the anti-jinx horsefeathers.

BUT we’re home the flag is flying, the beer is chilling, the jersey is on, and the music is blaring. As Kevin Bacon once screamed “Remain calm! All is well!!!!!” Okay maybe not but it was a fun, interesting run this year.

Hats off to you all after a great first year of posting instead of being the lurker. Cheers

Eh more just frustrated with Joe overall. He's forced the OF lefties to go against the dodger lefties while Happ rots on the bench. Also the Game 2 Lackey thing (Davis and Strop should have been fresh), Strop/Heyward/Zobrist double switch.

Happ vs LHP is like Javy vs RHP.

Yeah. No amount of managing would've made a damn bit of difference.

Joe didn't ask KB and Rizzo to go 1/50 with 40K's this series. He didn't ask the bullpen to walk scrubs, including a pitcher using little league distracting tactics.

Let's give it a rest with second guesses. If you want to question Joe's style of getting players ready, fine. Maybe the lack of BP, lack of team meetings, poor coaching has something to do with it. But his in game decision making? That's low on the list of things I'm upset about.

I don't understand these examples. Happ is pretty good against LHP, Javy is decent against RHP.

Javy had a WOBA in the 80s vs RHP and Happ had a WOBA in the the 90s vs LHP pitching this year..... we aren’t leaving some offensive force on the bench not playing Happ vs a LHP tonight or all series.

I didn't know it was possible to have an opinion as wrong as this whole thing in bold.

Theo has 3 titles..

04 Red Sox were down 3-0 famously..

07 Red Sox came back against the Indians 3-1.

16 Cubs obviously came back down 3-1.

Theo just likes to make things interesting. Time for an 8 game win streak.

Really? And joes in game management hasn’t won a World Series in the past 12 months. You can argue both ways.

You can blame a managers decision making when the series is competitive. This series has not been. You could have the best manager in history and no they are not winning the series.

You can say I’m wrong about he coaching part. Fine. Maybe I am. But my point is the players are not performing. If you want to blame the manager for the players not performing that’s one thing. But blaming the manager for poor in game decisions when they would still be down 3-0 at this point is another.

I doesn’t mean anything other than it really sucks to go out this way.

If we’re going to lose a playoff series I wish it would be in a “normal” way. We never just lose a back and forth series in 6.

1998 Sweep

2003 Blow 3-1 lead

2007 Sweep

2008 Sweep

2015 Sweep

2017 ?????!

Every time we get eliminated it’s with a 3+ game losing streak.

Even pre-historic playoff rounds (1984 and 1989).

Just not a fun way to end the season.

Kyle was hammering home this point about the 3 game losing streaks repeatedly last October. Don't be that guy

If things go bad, I'm just going to drop some acid and watch the World Series video. No matter what it's going to be a great night for the Cubs.

Here's how I see it. Win tonight (big IF) and hit Kershaw tomorrow (bigger IF but did make some nice contact game one). LAD have two days to stew on how could not put away and only one day away from potential game 7.

Nothing to lose. All to gain.
