lol like we were gonna score two more runs (this series) anyway

Can you give up like you did last year when the Cubs were down 2-1?

Hey it worked last year, might as well do it again.

pretty optimistic double switch with the pitchers spot up 6th

Because he has to finish game.

You think 5 people are batting in the 8th?

Not the point. They either tie it and he goes as long as the game lasts, or they don't. They had to make that switch.

What the hell kind of rule is "you have to let the guy score"?

Hitters are literally in more danger just standing up at the plate then they are on that kind of a play.

I mean, to be 100% clear, Willson broke the rule. What's infuriating is that there are dozens and dozens of instances where a guy kicks his back leg out even though he doesn't need to and it's allowed under the 'moving to receive the throw' umbrella. In many of them the throw was coming from the opposite direction(unlike this play). Dozens of these plays reviewed, not a single solitary one called.

W.T.F. Gotta be a statue at HP on throws home now?

Yep.

Can’t hit too hard in football either or it’s “targeting”

Oh stfu. Targeting is a legit problem, you can hit really hard without being a reckless [expletive].

I gotta admit, the biggest wimp here griping about football getting too soft is at least cracking me up in spite of this dumb game.

Have you seen some of the ejections?

the whole thing didn't seem that egregious to me. they dont want you kicking body parts out to intentionally impede a baserunners path to the plate. if it's dumb it's dumb but that's the rule and that's exactly what happened. im not sure what everyone expected

I would say we can win this by hitting some home runs, but they replay umpires can reverse those too for no reason, so probably not.

I mean this is a bum ass team the Dodgers have without Seager. They aren’t good and we are winning this series but horsefeathers this game
They're p good with the rivers of PEDs flowing through Chris Taylor and Brandon Morrow's veins tbh

You gotta get your laughs where you can.

Like when T-Mobile commercial guy says, “Hey Bryce Harper!” I’m all, “Hey, Bryce Harper, you’re not in the playoffs anymore!”

Although he seems nice. It’s Murphy & Dusty I dislike.
