10/12 NLDS Game 5 Cubs (Hendricks) vs DB's Nats (Gio) 7 pm TBS

I haven't been posting in these game threads lately, but we absolutely need to PH for Heyward. He's killing us in these big spots and we got lucky that wild pitch happened.

 

I DO think the Cubs are going to tie up this game eventually. I have no idea what happens in the later innings though. Our bullpen this postseason sucks and I have little faith in our guys (Wade included). Hopefully the Cubs offense breaks out.

 

Maybe there'll be a late game rain delay.

From what I've learned in my time as a Cubs fan there's no way runs don't score this inning against Hendricks.

We have seven pitchers on 2+ days rest. In an elimination game, our starter who has given up 6 hits and 4 runs in 3 innings does not need to bat three times.

 

He was hittable the other day. Need to actually destroy bad pitches.

I do ignore it. Gameday zone has them in the same spots. Ump just isn't giving those pitches to either side.

If you're talking about the 0-2 pitch to Robles, I thought that was a ball.

 

The 1-2 to Jay in the top half was in the same spot and was called a ball. There have been a couple others also. At least the ump is consistent.
