So Pedro and the gang are trying to figure out how to get Dusty Baker a Championship.

I always figured that Dusty just really never figured out how to manage pitchers.

Dusty often messes up pitcher management and strategy, but tonight that wasn't a problem unless you consider using Scherzer the wrong move.

Batting Werth second and starting him every game while Kendrick rotted on the bench...well that is on Dusty.

Theo: “we’ll figure it out on the plane before the heavy drinking starts” when asked who’s pitching game 1

They can whine about whatever calls they want, at most it makes up for MLB refusing to move game 4 to a time when it wouldn't be raining.

The Cubs would have won the series a game and a day (two actually) sooner.

Cubs have an .800 win percentage in double-elimination games over the last three decades. Clutch franchise.

Game 7 of the 2016 World Series aside, where would you rank the excitement level of that game with some of the others in recent years?

I think this falls in between the Montero grand slam game and the clinch v the Giants last year.

Only Game 7 tops it.

I'd rank NLCS clinch over this. That's no knock against this one by any means.

horsefeathers, Kyle had that in hand. We were smoking victory cigars in the dugout in the third inning.

3 NLCS appearances in a row. In all seriousness, I have a hard time believing it....
