We've finally reached a series that has a tad more importance. The Cubs look to do what they do when they win a World Series. Repeat.

I just looked it up and apparently we are getting the "top" crew from TBS. Ernie Johnson and Ron Darling. So get your radio ready. Anyway on to predictions...

1. Hendricks will allow 1 walk..

2. ..but will quickly be erased by a DP, unclogging the bases.

3. Russell hits a homer.

4. Cubs will win.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Glad this starts at 5:38 Denver time. I have a ct. at 3:30 and would have had to somehow DVR and avoid all spoilers if we started at 3:08.

Ernie Johnson, ugh. I'm a little surprised they aren't giving the Dodgers the "A-team," but I bet their steep tumble from grace hurt them. And this series has far more intrigue than an NL West battle will.

At least it's not Dick Stockton.

*Slow roller hit to Aramis Ramirez*

"And it's hit to Lee. Lee... Lee... LEE!"

How could you make a Dick Stockton post and use real names?

Rodrigo Ramirez

and Adolfo Soriano

TBS, I know this is Dusty facing the Cubs, but lets have a series without any 2003 highlights PLEASE

at the very least, save Stevie from attention.

I was just going off of what I'd heard from others... I was at the Glow-in-the-Dark tour for all of those games.

I'm weirdly chill about this series. I got a real good feeling.

It's great being the playoff team with the least amount of pressure.

Yeah, now that they turned it around and finished with a successful season (ie, 90+ wins, division title), I'm good going into Friday. I know I probably put too much emphasis on playoff baseball being a crapshoot, but now that I know that the Super Cubs are alive and well, and without the soul crushing desire to see a World Series, I'm feeling pretty relaxed.

This will all change in about 35 hours, so enjoying it now.

Bosio was on the Score this morning basically saying he can't see Jake not pitching in any playoff series and the simulated game was moved to a bullpen session due to the shitty weather. Also they pressed him on who the game one starter was going to be but he wouldn't say.
