Alright Cubs, forget about everything else and go crush balls at Coors.

Today we have Jake on the hill, and I'm feeling hopeful about his chances of going deep into this game. Our bullpen could really use the rest, so get it done Jake.

His counterpart will be reigning NL Rookie of the Month, Antonio Senzatela. Guy has been pretty legit for the Rockies this far, but personally, I think he could afford to be knocked down a rung or two, so here is a babyface picture of him without facial hair.

It looks like thunderstorms in Denver around game-time, so I dunno if they'll get this one in, but in the omniscient words of Kevin Costner, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose..

I'll only accept two of those outcomes. Go win Cubs.

Unless they're willing to wait it out a few hours, this almost definitely gets washed out.

So this means it's a lock to start on time and have no delays.

Never say never about Denver weather. The Wednesday game looks especially unlikely, and Tuesday is suspect as well, so I would guess that they might well try and wait out the rain today. Game might not start until 8:30 or 9 local time, if I were to guess.

That's just the Cubs batters whiffing.

It's staggering the lefties and righties that gets you the cloud rotation.

Man, you should have seen how quickly Tommy flew to join the team for this opportunity:

Since this is a stupid mountain time zone I request a non-18 inning game and let's win and since it's in a dong haven, let's do that too. Losing is dumb. Let's lose less.
