Arrieta's arm slot looks way off, looks like he's throwing damn near 3/4.

 

Hasn't he been doing that all season? I thought it was intentional.

 

He has and they were talking about it on MLB network recently. His arm slot is lower and his front foot is noticeably more toward 3rd base as well. All that combined with the velocity drop tells me he's either hurt or attempting to remake his delivery a bit to add some longevity. Considering he's now throwing more across his body, I doubt it's a delivery remake.
