Tommy Birch just suggested Candelario for the 26th spot. He's usually got a good pulse on anything going on with Iowa. I hope it is him, he deserves a bit of ML time after his start.

It's still crazy/hilarious to me that that dude got caught in a prostitution sting (while being recently married iirc) and had his name publicly out there (which obviously in Iowa means in his own publication as well) and didn't lose his job somehow. I'm not even speaking to judging him for it or anything aside from the fact that he was married, I'd just have expected him to get canned.

Postponed. Good.

Good but double header tomorrow kind of sucks

That's why I wasn't really all aboard the "I hope this gets canceled so we get some rest" train. DH's are brutal on a team and have documented relatively far reaching effects. At least there's an off day Thursday.

Tommy LaStella should never be allowed to play 3B

Are you kidding? Check out these hops:

He'll be snagging line drives like they're nothing.

This Senzatela dude is a bum, we should hammer him today and work a lot of counts. It's too bad we suck at hitting baseballs right now.

Arrieta's arm slot looks way off, looks like he's throwing damn near 3/4.

Hasn't he been doing that all season? I thought it was intentional.

No clue, I've probably only watched one other game he's started in and followed on gameday/radio the rest of his games (now that I think of it). First time I've really noticed it in the few times I've seen him pitch. Hopefully it's intentional for something good (thinks he can get better movement, deception, control, etc) and not because he has to do it because of an injury/discomfort or something.
