Small sample size, but Baez' peripherals actually looked pretty good going into today's game, especially if you figure the one thing you don't have to worry about with him is hitting for power. Hopefully this is just a bad game.

Granted, I am a gigantic idiot.

I have no idea what peripherals he could be referencing.... Javy hasn't taken a non-IBB walk yet, is K'ing 25% of the time, hitting for no power, still seems to be chasing out of the zone a lot, 61% contact rate and 46% o-swing percentage and slashing .229/.289/.314 with a .320 BABIP

Yeah, his plate discipline numbers are basically identical to his numbers from 2014.
