Why didn't Monty or someone from AAA get a spot start then? With how much they are tying to manage pitcher rest/innings, that would seem to make sense.

 

I don't think the dead arm thing is a rest issue. You just pitch through it until it goes away.

 

I'm fact, might be a result of the way they've managed them since most pitchers seem to go through it in spring training

But are any of you starting to mentally crack at all or is any doubt starting to creep in, or are most using last season as a teaching tool and realize that everything will be just fine?
