I just watched a YouTube video that was the final out of the last 65 World Series. It was 13 minutes long and I watched every second watching the Yankees, Dodgers, As, Reds, etc celebrating past titles. The whole time I'm just waiting and anticipating our turn. I get past the White Sox part and realize for the first time it doesn't sting, I get through the Giants 3 titles and then the Royals and suddenly it's there in all its glory. We finally fit in amongst all the past champions.

 

As awesome as the immediate joy of winning the title is, I think it's the little things like this that really make it awesome. All the constant reminders that the world has changed for the better.
