I know many of you live there and in the surrounding areas, but how many of you out of towners are making the pilgrimage for the series? And can we organize a meet up?

I will be there.

Heading up on Friday with my 8 year-old in tow from Cincinnati. Hotel is booked, just need to score tickets to at least one game. What an emotional night. Can't wait to see them win 4 more.

Thanks to all that make this board so horsefeathers amazing.

Fri-Sun. Not a lot of financial flexibility right now, but I'm not missing this even if it means I'll probably be sleeping in my car and spending my money on beer. Would love to meet up with everyone.

I'm really, really, reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealllllllly hoping they can win this within 5 games, because I just can't work it where I am in Chicago for any of the games past Sunday. I have Monday off as a travel day since I am driving, so anything I stick around for would require the next day off, too, and my paid time off is REAL dicey right now and I have just enough to cover what I need at the holidays to, ironically, see family in the Chicago area if I only need Friday-Monday to witness history. I mean, we're already rooting for that. I want this to end at Wrigley so badly.

Obviously; I'm just jealous of the folks talking about sticking around just be in Chicago regardless of whether the Cubs win it there or in Cleveland.

I've been assuming all along that I'm making the trip, but I can't believe it's actually time to plan it. I may go for the weekend, not sure yet.

Anybody do the street thing last night during the game? Is there places to be able to see a screen of the game? Or were people just there, some listening on the radio or streaming on their phone some just standing around waiting?
