I wish that, by some magic, I could hear Len and JD do these playoff games. :-(

 

Len actually did the 5th inning (I think it was the 5th) on 670 the Score with Pat and Ron.. it was nice to hear his voice!!

Guys, Roberts taking out Maeda with lester up was the best example of TT's joke about a manager playing a twelve deep game of telephone with a SABR front office

I was totally baffled by this, why would anyone take a pitcher out when they're facing the opposing pitcher? Though, maybe Roberts was seeing what we saw, and that Addison and Ross both saw like 10 straight balls but somehow got themselves out despite it

 

I just want to give some appreciation to Jon Lester, who's been nothing short of fantastic since coming to the Cubs. He doesn't really demand too much attention giving how great he's been, and he's been so horsefeathering great. NLCS MVP for sure if they can finish this out. :hello:

This is especially hilarious after reading that Rizzo runs around yelling stuff like "watch out for that skateboard!" at his second basemen. Javy messes with Rizzo, Rizzo thinks he's getting the last laugh but Javy walks away with the timeless gif. Welcome to the right side of the Cubs infield. Gonna be fun times.
