Summers in Seattle are the greatest stretch of weather anywhere on the planet.

San Diego says hello

I spent summer in San Diego two years ago and they had a heat wave and everything caught fire. Seattle 1, San Diego 0.

I was there last July. It was 75 every day. I was there in March. 72 every day.

The fires were probably inland? How hot was it downtown and up the coastline?

HOT AF

I know San Diego has perfect weather all year around every year for eternity, but I showed up the one year it decided to say "horsefeathers you".

They were repaving the roads near my cousins house and the heat wave, combined with the dry air and the heat from the asphalt caused the trees just off the curb to catch fire. PAVING THE ROADS CAUSED TREES TO CATCH FIRE IT WAS SO horsefeathering HOT

And by that I mean, the northwest is terrible and inhospitable, no one should ever move here

[expletive]. My brother lives in Portland. I went to visit him and nearly OD'd on delicious gourmet donuts like these.

If you don't want to eat a donut covered in Froot Loops, then you're a communist. There. I said it.

You can come to Denver for those and Denver is awesome.

Coming to LA in October too.

But yeah, this trade is awesome and Seattle is awesome.

It's on Dirty 6th right next to the Gino's East. On the weekends if you get there after 10 you can expect to wait 30-45 minutes.

man this thread really went off the rails.

We can only have so many pages about trading for a reliever before something more important comes up.

Funky donuts are ruining a good thing. They are inedible. Same with cupcakes. KISS

that doesn't mean that the shops who make the funky donuts (depending on which you're talking about is where i'd argue about what is being ruined) don't do an amazing job at simple

I don't want any freaking artisan donuts. All these fancy dancy new age artsy takes on things makes me think about a series I really don't like, but the hunger games where the capitol has all sorts of frivolous crap.

Gimme krispy kremes and a Twinkie.

Seriously, nothing beats a well made custard filled doughnut with a nice chocolate covering on top. So good.
