It's great to see the Mets stuck in 2004 Cubs mode over the last year. They are gonna lose 90+ games in the next 2 years. That picture is very funny, but it also really points to the delusion of those fans. They think that, like in "Homer at the Bat," their players are constantly succumbing to mysterious, absurd maladies because they are unlucky. When in reality, every single one of these injuries was incredibly predictable.
