Kinda reminds me of how he looked in the Pirates WC game, some missed bats but a good amount of hard contact at guys. But maybe he's trying to pitch to more contact this year to preserve pitches knowing that Theo/Joe have said they want to limit him a bit?

you know this, but baseball is just a constant reminder that nothing will ever be exactly perfect

velo is really good, and I think he's maybe thrown one or two non-fastballs, so maybe the whiffs are coming

Pitching to contact is one thing, pitching to hard contact is another.
