I'm not surprised at it at all, since MLB shoes aren't really a thing in any sense, and basketball shoes as casual wear are huge, but it's still crazy how little that is compared to what Derrick Rose got coming off his MVP.

I know cleats aren't exactly built for style, but I wonder if they would sell to a casual market if they just replaced the spikes with a cross trainer tread of some type? That way, for example, you could buy those Kris Bryant Adidas shoes for an everyday environment.

Eh. I don't think the NBA/Jordan phenomenon can really be replicated with other sports in that regard.

Well, I don't think I've spent more than 40 dollars on a pair of shoes in my life, and if there were a Bryant pair of sneakers that didn't look hideous and didn't hurt my feet...I'd double my budget. I'm a goofball, though.

Huh. With Soler gone, Almora might now be emerging as a dark horse in terms of Most Handsome Cub. He looks pretty goofy in a baseball uniform, but damn, he cleans up good.

Harper...WTF is going on there.

I can't help but think of Bryce Harper joining this team in a couple years now.

Always the bridesmaid, never the WS champ
