I know it's a troll account and is created to operate as such but I still can't spend more than 2 minutes there without it ruining my day.

The inability of many of their fan base to spell Busch correctly, especially when you know so damn many of them drink Busch beer, amuses me to no end. And I especially enjoyed the NSBB retweet of packing old bush. Terrific stuff.

Reading through that twitter really makes me believe there isn't a team in sports i hate more than them. It's really the only pro sports rival I can't stand.

lol, Baseball's Best Fans twitter is retweeting Cardinal fans that are already calling for Hazelbaker to be ROY.

I love that account, but I imagine even among their fan base, any such talk is mostly tongue in cheek at this point.

Yep, they've been doing it all day. That's where I picked it up.

jfc, this stuff has to be made up right?

Edit: He doesn't even have his Cardinal history right

It doesn't hurt that one of the greatest moments in baseball, coming in the 2006 World Series, happened to be by a Cardinals player—not only that, but a St. Louis native born and raised. Every knowledgable sports fan can recall when David Freese hit a solo home run to center field to send the World Series to a game seven along with Joe Buck's infamous call, "We will see you tomorrow night!"

It's not made up and it's what makes their fans utterly unbearable. There's a lot of good, knowledgeable fans down here, but man, the vocal idiots make them seem like a small minority.

Seriously, its such a blatantly obvious inferiority complex that they have. I said this in the comments (and I have no idea why I decided to engage this tool but I did) but I feel like cardinals fans believe that if they are not constantly telling the world how great they are and how historic their franchise is then everyone will forget they exist.

Holy crap that's awful. On top of getting the dates wrong, I think "Buck's infamous call" was also during the Red Sox-Yankees ALCS when the Sox came back from down 3-0 not a Cardinals series, though maybe he recycled the phrase.

Actually I believe Jack Buck used that call when Puckett walked off in game 6 of the 91 World Series, and Joe Buck "paid homage" by using it after Freese's HR in 2011.

Eh, I was slightly wrong. He said "We will see you later tonight" in the Sox-Yankees series, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzlx1wJGRN0

is the odyssey online like missouri's onion?

It appears to somehow be affiliated with the University of Missouri, which explains a lot of the terrible writing and lack of accuracy.

As I know some of you have seen, a few of the guys over at GRB are a little bent out of shape about how much the Cubs are walking so far this year:

Now if MLB wants to fix something, it's a rule to get the bats off of these guys shoulders. That is effective, but it is not fun to watch.

I seriously doubt the umpires will let this go on for the entire season

i think a start would be to brush rizzo off the [expletive] plate.

I would knock that mother [expletive] down in a heartbeat. He is absolutely on top of the plate.

You know, without a shadow of a doubt, that if it were the Cards walking at a record setting pace, Cards fans would be falling all over themselves to effusively praise them for their superior plate discipline.

Hmmm. I wonder if the umpires will just stop calling balls completely once the Cubs reach some kind of league-approved walk ceiling. Or maybe the umps just start shouting "knock it off, wise guys!"
