Horse lady feels like an affront to noble bipeds everywhere. Everything is bad and wrong about how she is moving, and she must be stopped.

I'd fall off that.

Let's not, please.

Oh please. When the joke is that a guy was riding a woman because she isn't a horse I'M the one that got inappropriate. Ok.

She was a horse woman

Given horselady was in the news recently I didn’t take it as a sexual reference, but if so let’s not do that either.

This is a pretty cool visual project and it's shame he didn't do a breakdown of Wrigley Field.

Seeing the changes over time is pretty awesome too.

So AAA is using the same balls as the majors are now.

PCL average OPS by year

19: .823

18: .763

17: .774

16: .751

.823 would have tied for second last year, is .001 off second in 2017 and would have led the league in 2016.

International League:

19: .783

18: .709

17: .719

16: .697

The worst team has a .723 OPS this year. That would have been second in the league in 2016.

During the broadcast last night, they said that the AVERAGE home run this year is 400 feet. That’s nuts

Is it?

Considering most homeruns have to travel well over 300 feet just to be home runs in the first place, it's not that crazy to me.

The only reference to this stat I see is the average distance from 2016 - 2017 was 398 feet. So, I'm not sure what this particular stat means, if anything.

What is especially crazy is that Colorado Springs isn't a part of the PCL anymore as that place was Coors on steroids. (I believe 2018 was the first season without CS, and probably contributed the OPS drop from 17 to 18.)

The Dodgers defense is kind of insane. Joc is the only everyday player with a negative rating and their pitchers have added about 10 dwar also.

The point of my post is can we emulate them please?

I want to win the war race.

P.S. stop making dumb outs on the bases, too.

How are the Pirates 2 games over .500 with a -50 run differential? Win small, lose big I guess but wow.

Josh Bell is doing what he can, dammit:
