The craziest part of this is the next closest guy had like 153 singles by the time he hit 100 HRs.

Edit: Russell Branyan with 172 is the next closest.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2835727-madison-bumgarner-rumors-yankees-cubs-red-sox-among-teams-on-no-trade-list

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner reportedly selected the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees for the eight-team no-trade list allowed by his contract, per Spotrac.

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reported the full list Saturday. It also features the Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals.

Bumgarner's choices don't mean he wouldn't accept a move to one of those clubs. Instead, they give him leverage to potentially pick his own destination among those possible contenders, per Rosenthal.

seems pretty smart of him to me. could we even get him? no way right?

I dunno, didn't really think it through beyond the scope of "could this guy become a Cub?" He doesn't look like he sucks, although I've never really been a fan of his red-assery. Really just posted because I think that's an interesting move by him to take control of where he goes if there are several contenders vying for him.

I was going to say that athletes are the worst, but really...it's just people overall that suck.

Yup. There are piece of crap athletes, Dirty Cops, slimy layers, dirtbag doctors, hypocrite preachers, pedophile teachers, sketchy grocery clerks, crooked construction workers, and call center workers that steal your identity. Abusers and drug addicts in every profession.

There are people that suck and heroes in most every walk of life. We just tend to hear about the bad ones in high profile professions.
