Geez, if that Castro hit was a couple feet higher this is a ball game.

I feel like Castro has hit everything that hard this series. He has little to show for it, but he's been on top of everything.

You're not wrong, he's actually acquitted himself pretty well.

I can't decide if it will make me feel better or worse when Fangraphs comes out with an article that shows how the Cubs were the unluckiest team with regards to line drive BABIP (if that's even a thing) in playoff history

Predictions: which of the Cubs that we've seen so far is playing their last game for the Cubs?

I'll go with Hammel, Richard, Wood, Fowler and I guess Baez

so that inning was bad for the Cubs and good for the mets. Good insight.

It's obvious Turner broadcasting blew the budget on the NBA crew

Never thought I'd long for the objectivity of Joe [expletive] Buck

It's definitely a thing. Someone Tweeted that the league average on balls hit 107 MPH (I'm presuming that was Castro's) was .701.

I know many would like it, but Hammel probably isn't going anywhere. Right?

Probably not, I don't know what kind of trade value he has at this point. If there were some way to manage his workload, he could be an asset, because first half Hammel each of the last two years has been pretty damned good. But we can't go into next October with a rotation of Arrieta, Lester and two bullpen days.
