He's decent and it's a small contract. No need for spin. Please. You can't possibly be happy with that contract. If Duncan was still there, you guys would already have two or three similarly skilled pitchers (even if reclamation) on 1 year make or break contracts. He was a huge advantage for you the last 20 or so years. except duncan isn't there, the cards' starting pitching is pretty thin, leake is generally consistent, solid and healthy, and it's 2015, so those types of pitchers don't get paid $5 million a year any more. I agree. IMO it shows how far they've fallen in the post Larussa/Luhnow Cards' era.
