Does Maddon have it in him to go off on the umpiring in the postgame conference?

It won't accomplish anything, but it sure seems like his frustration has been growing throughout the series.

It definitely has become clear that any extension of the zone, consistent or not, is a big disadvantage for the Cubs hitters and their patient approach.

Yankees won game 3 of the 2004 ALCS 19-8. We have to get to our lowest before we soar to unspeakable highs.

Was it Millar who said before game 4 that year, "don't let us win tonight and let us have Pedro in game 5, Schilling in game 6, and anything can happen in game 7"? Could paraphrase that for Lester and Arrieta if you wanted.

Umpiring has had nothing to do with anything.

There has been plenty of Cub failure, separate from the umpiring. I'm plenty angry at the zone too but I don't think he should go off in the PC.

Maybe we could blame the umpires if it were closer and we weren't getting killed in all aspects of the game.

The Cubs' problems have been well beyond the strike zone, but the strike zone has contributed to them. That isn't an excuse and it is on them to make adjustments, but the zone has been bad nonetheless.

Wonder if tickets will be cheap for tomorrow

Was thinking the same thing, may try and buy some if I can get something decent for $200 or less

Interested in 2 in Section 313 Row 7 for $200/each?

I want an epic grand slam. We've had no real, lasting playoff moments ever (well, positive ones, in games we won) how about an [expletive] awesome one this inning.
