Soler needs to do something, anything with men on base. I mean, Castro stinks on ice but still has nearly 50 RBI

Castro can actually make contact and get a fluke hit or two, pitchers know exactly how to pitch Soler if they need a strikeout

Throw it five inches off the plate and get the umpire to still ring him up?

Went to high school with Foltynewicz. He was a Freshman my Senior year but up on Varsity as a Freshman. Havent seen him in years but he was always a good kid, pretty humble.

I could see the Cubs having some trouble with the K's tonight cause he does throw heat. Not sure how he's been pitching (think he was just brought up from AAA) or if he has been racking up strikeouts but he does have some wicked stuff.

How in the hell does a hotel room in Schaumburg not get Comcast? I literally cannot watch this game in my hotel room.

Do hotel rooms usually get local rsns? I'm not even sure.

Wait, they have Comcast but somehow not Comcast Sports? Or they have a different provider?

Hotels have their own weird setups

It really depends on the hotel. Every one is different. When I was in Orlando the night the Hawks won the Cup I was able to watch the Lightning post game show on their RSN

This. Solers strike zone has been absurd and it's gotta [expletive] with his approach

Blacked out on extra innings and MLB.tv. Unreal. I thought they would only black me out (in Mississippi) for a game played in Atlanta.

Now I gotta listen to Chip. Kill me.

There's not really any evidence that Soler has been a victim of an unusual number of bad strike calls, and people have looked for it.

It's just a meme that entered people's heads and confirmation bias took over, especially since it's more comforting than talking about what a dumpster fire he's been this season and how that's bad for his projection.

for people who use mlb.tv a lot, how often does it usually freeze for you?

It doesn't freeze a lot for me, but the quality degrades for a minute or so before getting back to HD, and it often "hiccups" back a few seconds; like 3-4 times a game.

Thanks. My post certainly wasn't a joke, alluding to the meme.

So, not that the Giants losing is a bad thing necessarily, but J.A. Happ and Charlie Morton are shutdown starters now?

Giants offense is ass

Coming up fast behind it are your repeated efforts to make up the idea that nobody is expressing worry or frustration over Soler. It's not enough that a player has a crappy year; it has to be that only Kyle was smart enough to not be in denial over said crappy year. Don't mistake David's robotic hyperbole over Soler's muscly arms as speaking for everyone else.
