I know people often seem annoyed by Hairyducked, but what's his track record? Is he right most of the time? Like what was his take on Rizzo a few years ago?

 

Just wondering. He seems like his opinions are backed by research he does, which I respect. I'll say I don't agree with his criticism of Theo and I'm more willing to say that guys can improve when they are only 23 and don't have to start declining when they are 24.

It's not enough that a player has a crappy year; it has to be that only Kyle was smart enough to not be in denial over said crappy year. i just don't think he's going to suck long term. i don't think i've been effusive with soler praise at all this year.

 

he does hit the ball obscenely hard on a consistent basis, though. he's top 15 in the league among guys with 150+ PA in average batted ball velocity. and most of the other guys on that list have been pretty good hitters.
