So, not that the Giants losing is a bad thing necessarily, but J.A. Happ and Charlie Morton are shutdown starters now?

Giants offense is ass

Well that's nowhere close to true.

Seriously.

Well I'm sure when completely healthy it's fine but right now it's terrible.

I know people often seem annoyed by Hairyducked, but what's his track record? Is he right most of the time? Like what was his take on Rizzo a few years ago?

Just wondering. He seems like his opinions are backed by research he does, which I respect. I'll say I don't agree with his criticism of Theo and I'm more willing to say that guys can improve when they are only 23 and don't have to start declining when they are 24.

I'm right and wrong about the same as anyone else.

2nd lowest OPS in tonight's lineup: .755. 6 guys at 800+

Coming up fast behind it are your repeated efforts to make up the idea that nobody is expressing worry or frustration over Soler. It's not enough that a player has a crappy year; it has to be that only Kyle was smart enough to not be in denial over said crappy year. Don't mistake David's robotic hyperbole over Soler's muscly arms as speaking for everyone else.

am i even that high on soler?

i just don't think he's going to suck long term. i don't think i've been effusive with soler praise at all this year.

he does hit the ball obscenely hard on a consistent basis, though. he's top 15 in the league among guys with 150+ PA in average batted ball velocity. and most of the other guys on that list have been pretty good hitters.

lol

3rd best in baseball = "when completely healthy it's fine"

Isn't he always harping about how the Giants are "only" a certain amount of games back, and droning on and on about how inevitable it is that they will pass us or whatever?

Yet, there offense is garbage. Right.

it's not about him being right or wrong. he's obviously not dumb.

he's just a high volume contrarian troll and that gets annoying. and he does it on every remotely related cubs corner of the internet.

Not a troll. But the rest is pretty much right.

Although not nearly high volume this summer.

Well, I was joking about stuff like this; we all know how hard he hits the ball, but so far it hasn't translated to much this season. Hope, hope, hope...

Make up your mind so I can tell you which way you are wrong.

If I were a professional baseball pitcher and decided to get a tattoo sleeve on just one arm, I think I'd go non-pitching arm.
