CUBS are 30-4 (.882) when they score 5 runs or more....!

This stat is so bananas. If this team had a slightly better than average offense it would be one of the best in the league.

I say yank Jake. The bullpen can hold a 5-run lead.

Do you have [expletive] memento disease?

You're the one that apparently forgot his revelation earlier that bullpen is actually good.

It is one of the best in the league. That's why it's going to the playoffs and would be in contention to win any other division (if I'm slightly wrong on this, sue me...not gonna double check)

I enjoy most of the goofy stuff, but this annoys me for some unknown reason. Maybe it's the pronunciation.

but if it had a slightly better than average offense it would be [expletive] unstoppable

and i totally believe that could happen this season

Has nothing to do with the pen - its that Arrieta is dominating.

So what? It's just 3 innings left for the bullpen to cover in a 5-0 game. Start grabbing the extra rest whenever possible.

I just imagined the 2015 pitching staff paired with the 2008 offense.

I'll be in my bunk.

And if you want him to continue delivering such performances, removing him in a game that is at probably like 98% win expectancy (pulled out of my ass) is a good idea.
