He was fine most of the time; had a couple years where he looked real good and had several that were pretty smelly. Bryant should be better.

I don't know what the stats said about him on D, but he seemed adequate at worst and occasionally better than that to me.

like if a hitter sees a pitch about to be super wild with 2 strikes, can he take a swing (and miss) at it so he can try to get to 1st? at what point can't he?
