As much as DJ is pissing us off, I'm sure Rockies fans are hating Dex.

 

I know he's somewhat Coors aided, but hard to believe he's made himself into a pretty good player.

 

Thought he was just fodder when we dealt him.

Yeah Lester has actually been really good this year since the first like 5 starts when he was kinda bad

 

Really only 3 starts...

 

First 3 starts: 6.89 ERA

Last 17 starts: 2.81 ERA

That reminded me of DeRosa's HR in game 1 of the 2008 NLDS. Almost the exact same high pop fly hit down the RF line and the way it was hit everyone thought it would end up foul or short of the wall and then all the sudden it landed for a HR.

I really hope/think the offense is on the verge on something with Fowler the last 1-2 weeks, Rizzo hopefully now, Russell the last 1-2 weeks, Schwarber up and Bryant still not being that bad despite "struggling" a little

Yeah, in the end, I bet Jon Lester is pretty much the same pitcher he has been all these years.

 

When you get all the money and headlines during the offseason, suddenly perception changes. But that's not his fault.
