wtf? why?

Because a guy who can average 80+ walks and hits 30+ dongs and a mid .800's OPS and play acceptable defense is a horrible low-ball comparison you monster.

So we've had a guy acting like a faster Dunn with better defense is a bad thing, and now this.

I didnt say its bad, but alot of the media hyped up KB to be the next coming of Mike Schmidt. Which if was true would be GQ level sexy.

Bryant is Pat Burrell, with more speed and the ability to stay at 3B for a longer period of time. Bryant's rookie season will likely look a lot like Burrell's when all is said and done too, down to being 23 years old. Of course, you have to consider Bryant is in a tougher run environment and playing a much tougher defensive position, he looks a lot better. Hopefully, Bryant's peak years last just as long, and he doesn't have the stinker of the season that Pat had at age 26.

Bryant in the early 2000s would have totally hit 40 home runs his rookie year

EDIT: Good God, Pat Burrell's rookie year in 2000 OPS of .822 was good for only a 106 OPS+

I miss the early 2000's :bye:
