I don't think so. He never even looked back. That said, he was totally flat footed and got an awful jump, which makes me want to hope there was a missed sign.

Please. Had both been safe you'd love it.

Please. they were both out by a mile

 

Fowler was not out by a mile and the Rockies just got lucky that the pitch was so bad it was almost a pitch out.

The ball beat him by a mile.

 

 

And stealing is not the least bit exciting to me even if they are safe. It's why I don't get all up and arms like the ninnies that freak about Lester's pickoffs. Make your outs at the plate, not on the bases.

I don't care if it's exciting. It's a way to produce runs when you're not doing it in the traditional sense. Station to station hasn't exactly worked that well these past few months.
