Hendricks will never get another win.

A: Who cares about pitcher wins

B: If he keeps only going 5-6 innings per start he doesn't deserve wins

 

He's not taking himself out after 80 pitches.

Maybe he's only good for 80-90 pitches? He did almost give up a HR and a hard hit ball to start this mess

 

After retiring 10/11 batters, someone hit it hard. Yep, DFA.

Where did I insinuate DFA'ing him? Maybe Maddon/FO/someone feels he's typically effective for 80-90 pitches, they let him go out there and he gave up two hard hit balls and since he was in the range they feel he loses effectiveness they yanked him. I will say I wish they let him out there longer too, but this is the second time now where they've pulled him and I'm trying to think of why.

Theo needs to address this mid relief situation asap. Waiting for Grimm and Ramirez is going to cost them too many games.

 

Probably costs less than going out and aggressively pursuing quality relievers via trade in April.

 

When your bullpen gives up several runs every game for nearly a week straight, then it's probably ok to pay a little extra.
